The Program

Enrolled students receive weekly 2-1.5-hour ensemble practices, full orchestra rehearsals, and dedicated coaching sessions with experienced faculty.

  • Full orchestra rehearsals train students to play as an ensemble, with a focus on leadership skills, discipline, collaboration, and achieving goals.
  • During coaching sessions, students refine their technique and address instrument-specific challenges. Faculty members provide tailored feedback based on the orchestra’s repertoire and individual student progress.
  • Throughout the season, we offer performance opportunities for students to showcase their skills.
  • We encourage applicants to:
  • Have at least 2 years of musical experience (private lessons, band, orchestra, or equivalent)
  • Continue private instruction and school music ensemble participation after they join
